Daily, I am the Head of the Staff Unit Sustainability at the University of Konstanz. Our mission is to support and coordinate sustainable development on all fields of action. In doing so, we promote the active involvement of all status groups and administrative areas of the university to facilitate and strengthen the transformation process towards a sustainable University of Konstanz. We do this by: - promoting dialog on the work with sustainability across employees and students to develop and establish a common understanding of sustainability - setting up a framework of sustainability policies based on a participative process ­- active promotion and implementation of structures and measures for sustainable development ­- active role in regional, national and international sustainability networks

Personally, having a background as environmental engineer and scientist in aquatic physics I am committed to contributing to a more sustainable future for organizations, people and planet. My focus is on being a sounding board for all members of the university who want to shape and implement sustainability.
